“Both my sessions were good. [Tutor A] and [Tutor B] were efficient. The only problem is the break between 6 and 8.30. Sometimes the session it's not complete by 6 and then you have to go again at 8.30 which is not always possible. You are doing very good work at your Center. “The writing center is great, and I was there for over two hours this week alone. I am very thankful for the decision to open it during Finals week, and think that during finals week it should be open for extended hours (possibly with staff members assuming the normal student staff are busy).”

“I thought the session was pretty helpful, it would've been more helpful if I had a better idea of what I wanted to do with the session and had been more prepared. I thought what was really useful was reading aloud the paper to someone. I found so many mistakes, awkward phrases, and improvements that I could make. [X] was also very nice and resourceful. I would definitely recommend this to my friends if they have a few days before to work on their hum paper, just for revising purposes.”

“The services are absolutely useful to me. (My mother tongue is not English.) I think the service is more valuable to international students. But the quality of service somewhat depends upon the counselor. Also, one important problem occurs when the customer (like me) doesn't know what the problem of his/her writing is. In my case, I can't tell the serious grammar/structure problems while I read my own writing. So sometimes it is hard for me how to ask the counselor... Just read all and find errors? Those problems have been the main issues for me. Anyway, thank you for the good service in the writing center.”

“I went to the Hixon Writing Center because it is a requirement in PS 12 to go once this term. I wouldn't have gone otherwise (because it would require me to start working earlier).
