During summer 2021, the Hixon Writing Center will be offering support to undergraduate students participating in summer research through Student-Faculty Programs. The writing center will re-open for appointments with all Caltech writers at the start of Fall Quarter on September 27, 2021.

The HWC has created a new handout that aims to support writer of diversity statements.

The Hixon Writing Center is closed from December 14th - January 3rd. Enjoy your winter break!

We'll continue to meet remotely with writers throughout the fall term. Our fall schedule is now up if you want to sign up to meet with us this fall.

HWC Writing Specialists will continue to meet with writers, but we will do so remotely for the remainder of winter term.

Sunday Night Writes returns starting Sunday, 1/19. This weekly event offers undergrads a supported place to write every Sunday from 6-8 p.m. in Hameetman Club Room 2. And hey, free sandwiches!

As of Monday, 9/30, the HWC is open for the academic year. We look forward to working with you in the year ahead.
