Appointments

The Hixon Writing Center offers one-to-one appointments to discuss writing with our staff of professional and undergraduate peer tutors. We offer both in-person and online appointments. Our center is located on the 3rd floor of the Center for Students Services.

To make an appointment, Caltech undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs should be able to access our schedule to book their own appointments via https://caltech.mywconline.com/. Log in to the schedule with your Caltech credentials.

If you are Caltech staff or a visitor, you will not have access to our schedule. If you wish to meet with us and cannot visit our schedule, please send an email to writing@caltech.edu. We accommodate such requests as resources allow. We do not offer appointments for writers outside the Caltech community, and we do not serve researchers at JPL.

We offer appointments year-round. We are closed during Caltech holidays and have reduced availability between academic terms.
